Many companies find it difficult to implement a human resources management policy within their organization.

Yet human resources are at the heart of their organizations. The massive medium-term retirement of a good number of "baby-boom" employees will only accentuate the problems facing the owner-managers of these organizations.

Reaction can be nightmarish, only pro-active action is desirable.

This program aims to tackle the issues raised in this context head-on.

As part of its Human Resources Support Program (HRSP), the Société d'aide au développement de la collectivité (SADC) Lac-Saint-Jean-Est (Lac-Saint-Jean-Est Community Futures Development Corporation) wishes to support businesses that do not have a formal, written human resources management policy in place within their organization, by introducing basic human resources management concepts and practices to the owners of these organizations. The aim is to encourage them to gradually implement quality human resources management. The program comprises four intervention components:

  1. Meeting between the consultant and the person designated by the company;
  2. Human resources diagnostic overview;
  3. Support for action plan design;
  4. Support for the implementation of actions.

  • Do not have a formal, written human resources management policy;
  • Which identify a person responsible for human resources within the company, if not the owner-manager himself;
  • Located in the Lac-Saint-Jean-Est region.

Objectives :

  • Provide business owners and managers with basic human resources management concepts and practices, to encourage them to gradually implement quality human resources management;
  • Develop the owner-manager's autonomy with regard to newly acquired knowledge, while respecting his/her priorities and abilities.

Benefits for the company :

  • Supported by consultants;
  • Tailored and personalized to the company;
  • Carried out according to the owner-manager's priorities and deadlines, as well as the company's financial and human capacities;
  • The program can be withdrawn at any time;
  • Financially supported by the Société d'aide au développement de la collectivité (SADC) Lac-Saint-Jean-Est.
