General information

The Société d'aide au développement de la collectivité (SADC) Lac-Saint-Jean-Est's main objective in providing services to organizations dedicated to business creation and growth is to implement activities and programs aimed at ensuring the presence of a climate conducive to local economic development.

More specifically, our corporation wants to increase its knowledge of local dynamics and the needs of organizations that directly support the creation and growth of local businesses.

The services provided by the Société d'aide au développement de la collectivité (SADC) Lac-Saint-Jean-Est to organizations dedicated to the creation and growth of businesses are governed by a strategic and territorial prioritization policy, updated annually by its Board of Directors. This policy may render certain requests inadmissible. These services are also limited to the financial capacity of our organization to intervene.

Financial support

Non-repayable contribution Local economic development (Organization)

This program provides a non-repayable financial contribution to local economic development organizations whose interventions are aimed at business creation or growth.

Financing offer :

  • Financial assistance, in the form of a non-repayable contribution, can reach a maximum of $5,000 per organization, per project.

Basic criteria essential for processing a request :

  • The organization must operate in the Lac-Saint-Jean-Est MRC territory.

Target clientele :

  • Organizations supporting local economic development.

Eligible projects :

  • Projects whose scope of intervention affects or will affect, in the short, medium and long term, the improvement of labor pool conditions for companies and the creation or growth of businesses.

Special conditions:

  • This financial contribution can only cover professional fees related to eligible project costs, billed directly to the SADC and paid by it on a pro rata basis;
  • The Société d'aide au développement de la collectivité (SADC) Lac-Saint-Jean-Est will not make a non-repayable contribution to an organization before ensuring that it is essential to the project and complementary to other sources of funding;
  • May not exceed a maximum contribution of 75% of the organization's eligible project costs for activities without capital costs.
