The Société d'aide au développement de la collectivité (SADC) Lac-Saint-Jean-Est has been in operation since February 1, 1995. It is the result of the merger of the Centre d'aide aux entreprises Lac-Saint-Jean-Est (1988) and the Comité d'aide au développement de la collectivité Lac-Saint-Jean-Est (1988). The Société d'aide au développement de la collectivité (SADC) Lac-Saint-Jean-Est is both an economic development advisor and a financial partner.
