As part of this program, the Société d'aide au développement de la collectivité (SADC) Lac-Saint-Jean-Est prepares business managers to become autonomous in the whole process of cost analysis.

 

TWO-STAGE PROGRAM :

 

STEP 1

Diagnosis of financial management processes and systems

Analyze the strengths and weaknesses of the finance function process. The objectives of this analysis are as follows.

  • Draw up a diagram of current systems (summary analysis) ;
  • Establish the company's current needs and consider the organization's growth potential;
  • Assess the ability or inability of existing systems and systems under consideration by management to meet current and future needs;
  • Determine the extent of systems requiring change or upgrade (short, medium and long term);
  • Estimate a realistic budget for an upgrade or change.

 

STEP II

Management coaching (costing and financial management)

The coaching intervention will enable the manager to perfect his management skills in understanding and analyzing his profitability, and in making strategic decisions. The aim is to provide the manager with a structured working tool to describe and understand the sales pricing process. The aim is also to make him autonomous throughout the cost analysis process, from profitability analysis to the implementation of performance indicators, including the monitoring of these indicators, the setting of selling prices by product and by customer, and strategic decision-making.

 

For companies :

  • Who do not have a financial controller within the company;
  • For small business owner-managers only;
  • Who undertakes to provide SADC with all the necessary information to enable professionals to prepare themselves properly.

 

Objectives :

  • Help promoters understand their costs and become autonomous in analyzing this data (supporting table);
  • Equip promoters to ensure the profitability of their activities.
